Museums
There are multiple museums in Singapore to explore depending on which area you like best. Perhaps the most famous one would be the National Gallery and the Arts and Science Museum.
Here are a list of the more popular museums in Singapore and typically what they showcase:
National Gallery – More for those who want to see modern art around the region. The architecture is also nice as it is within the old City Hall building.
ArtScience Museum – Located next to Marina Bay Sands, its external architecture supposedly represents a palm – worth visiting if you like a bit of art, science, culture and technology. I would recommend checking out the exhibits if it interests you before visiting.
Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum – Probably the best natural history museum located in the campus of the renowned National University of Singapore.
Asian Civilisations Museum – This museum showcases a lot on the regional heritage of Southeast Asia, West Asia and East Asia. It is quite accessible as it is located within town.
National Museum of Singapore – this museum is also within town and has a nice exterior structure. It primarily showcases art, culture and history of Singapore and Singaporeans.
